WEEK 9 IS SELF WORK WEEK: We will not be meeting at school!!!

This week, Week 9 is to be used to work on your final multimedia projects off-site. At this point you should be decided and committed to your subject matter is and you should have begun collecting footage.

To account for attendance this week, you must email a project status update to photoj105@gmail.com by 5pm, Thursday, September 5. 

By Week 10 you should have all footage shot/recorded, and you should have started experimenting/plugging in footage to your editing software of choice.

Next up: Environmental Portraits (group and individual)

Hello everyone!! This is "Environmental Portraits" week. In the "Lesson Plans" page you will find a list of photographer's work to look at for additional inspiration. Check the "Tutorials" page for the image batch conversion tutorial and of course check the "Assignments" page for the full list of what is due next week. Lastly for those that want a quick refresher on the meaning of "resizing" vs "resampling" images check the "Glossary" page.

Hello everyone! This week's assignment is to shoot either in sports action or sports feature . Check the assignment page for details.

As also mentioned in class, we now have a password protected private tumblr page. (The password will be emailed to you all). Your top images selected with class input during critiques will be posted to this page. You will be captioning your images at a later date.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT MISSED CLASS: 

1. We did not cover "NATURE" this week, just Sports. We will do this at another date.
2. Even if you do not have work, do not let this be a reason to miss class. There are always ways to contribute!!!!

NO FIELD TRIP NEXT WEEK (WEEK 3)!!! MEET AT SCHOOL AND BRING YOUR CAMERA!!



We will be meeting at A.I. next week (Week 3); NOT at City Hall. As discussed in class you will be shooting your assignment in and around North Hollywood. Come to class first and then you will have the remainder of the class to shoot. For those of you that missed class, please check the "Assignments" page for more details. You will need to do some research BEFORE you come to class!!
